N. P. Weiss Paw Support Team
At N.P. Weiss Law, we believe even serious work benefits from a little extra support. Our Paw Support Team may not handle cases or court appearances, but they show up in their own ways, keeping things moving, interrupting when necessary, and bringing a bit of paw-sitive energy to the day.

Bernard “Bernie” Weiss – Chief Morale Officer
Bernie was recruited from One of A Kind pet rescue for his exceptional personality and happy-go-lucky demeanor by Attorney Weiss. He assists staff in research and belly-rub activities. He can frequently be found in the office begging for snacks and head scratches, and has somehow convinced multiple staff members to keep dog beds in their office for him. His favorite toy is “squeaky ball.”

Gypsy, Sadie, and Howard Chaloupka – Paw Review Board
Gypsy (left), Sadie (center), and Howard (right) were brought together under the direction of Rob Chaloupka and have since taken on their roles as the firm’s Paw Review Board. From their home office, they maintain constant oversight, carefully monitoring activity and deciding when their involvement is required. They tend to observe from a distance, stepping in selectively to inspect matters more closely. While their methods may vary, their standard does not, ensuring every decision is thoroughly considered before being silently judged.

Tootsie Mitchell – Associate Pawfessional
Tootsie is a spirited puggle and the loyal sidekick of Attorney Nicholas Mitchell. With a nose for adventure and a talent for tracking down snacks, Tootsie takes her responsibilities very seriously. When she’s not perfecting her “puppy eyes” strategy, she enjoys long walks, cozy naps, and making sure her humans never work too long without a break.
-

Luna Reyes – Mew-diation Specialist
Luna picked her family when her future dad visited the SPCA Pet Shelter in Parma. She enjoys watching over her neighborhood from the front window, chittering at birds from the screened in porch, and spending time in any box or paper bag she can find, whether it’s empty or not. She regularly trains to jump scare her family by hiding and taking swipes at whoever passes by, and practices her parkour moves when the zoomies hit.
-

Shadow Reyes – Intern (Remote)
Shadow is a lab terrier mix rescued by the Reyes family from the Cleveland APL. Shadow spends her time barking at noises no one else can hear, making sure no one is within one-thousand yards of her house, and trying to get her humans to pick her up. She is not a fan of car rides and doesn’t see the need for them. Shadow is a remote intern as she doesn’t like people and going to the office requires car rides.
-

Connie Reyes – Intern
Connie is a Cockapoo who enjoys blingy collars, being chased around the house, laying on pillows that don’t belong to her and then later shoving them off the couch while having a temper tantrum. She also really likes car rides and thinks she should go everywhere with her humans. Connie is an N.P. Weiss Law intern who rarely comes into the office as she doesn’t particularly care about the law but thinks she should be doing something with her life.

Kilian Kuhn – Attorney at Paw
Kilian was adopted in May of 2020 after being found as a stray kitten in a junk yard, and now enjoys living a life of luxury as a spoiled indoor cat. A typical Torbie, she is rather persnickety and does things on her own terms. She can usually be found napping or arguing with the squirrels outside her favorite window. Sometimes she will boss around her brothers, Tango and ChaCha, but she mostly finds them annoying.
-

Tango Kuhn – Purralegal
Tango was rescued from an abandoned house as a kitten in August 2022, and has been his cat mom’s dedicated sidekick and Purralegal ever since. He loves typing on the keyboard, lounging across open books or papers, regularly bombs video conferences, and supervises whatever his humans are doing. He frequently takes a break from work to make biscuits or wrestle with his brother. He also enjoys Amazon boxes and his mini pool table.
-

ChaCha Kuhn– Paw Clerk
ChaCha was adopted from Lucky Paws Animal Rescue as a tiny kitten in August 2023, and just keeps growing, and growing, and growing. He loves to make sure his humans are up bright and early, and that meals are served on time. His greatest skill is his ability to play fetch with toy mousies, and he is also adept at stealing pens or other small office items. When he’s not working (which is most of the time), he loves to harass his sister Kilian or get into shenanigans with his brother, Tango.
-

Bella O'Brien – Canine Comfort Consultant
Bella is the loyal companion of Associate Family Law Attorney Claire O’Brien and takes her role in maintaining balance throughout the workday very seriously. She has an impeccable sense for when a break is needed and will promptly demand a walk, whether it’s scheduled or not. Bella keeps a close eye on her surroundings, ensures her human never works too long without fresh air, and considers herself the unofficial enforcer of work-life balance.
-

Chloe O'Brien – Claw Clerk
Chloe takes a hands-on approach to her work and believes all documents benefit from direct interaction. She is quick to step into active workspaces, reviewing materials by standing, sitting, or stretching across them to ensure each document gets her personal touch. She operates entirely on her own schedule and has no interest in waiting her turn, often inserting herself into work at exactly the moment she feels it’s needed most.
-

Luna O'Brien – Zoomies Coordinator
Luna has a unique approach to conflict resolution, often breaking up quiet moments with sudden, full-speed zoomie sessions. She monitors all activity closely and steps in whenever she feels additional energy is needed. Known for her dramatic entrances, quick exits, and tendency to appear mid-task, Luna plays an active role in keeping household dynamics anything but predictable.
-

Malibu Shainoff – Tort-ie Specialist
Malibu was born on a local farm and found her forever home at just 5 weeks old. This adventurous and loving kitty has a feisty side that keeps everyone on their toes! She loves nothing more than watching birds and squirrels from her favorite window perch, and of course, eating her favorite treats.
-

Jax Yuncker – Senior Paw-ralegal
Jax is a fearless Chihuahua with a heart as big as his bark. As the loyal companion and paw-tner of a hardworking paralegal, he brings joy and playfulness to his owner's busy life. Jax proves that even in the fast-paced world of law, there's always time for a little tail wagging and puppy love.
-

Freddie Kallay — Marketing Purrfessional
Freddie takes a very hands-on approach to marketing and strongly prefers to be in the center of all creative activity. He is frequently found stepping directly onto keyboards, blocking screens, or inserting himself into meetings to ensure his input is considered. Despite his purrsistance, Freddie remains confused as to why he has not yet been featured as the star of the firm’s YouTube channel, a matter he continues to monitor closely.
